HARDWOOD

Boatwood

Recycled wood from old boats. Usually conifers. The material is cleaned and free of harmful substances. There may be cracks, nail holes, color differences and irregularities in the wood. It is part of the collection’s character and makes each individual piece of furniture unique. New cracks can occur. The furniture is only treated with a thin stain and lacks surface protection. Recommended for indoor use.

Maintenance

Wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth. Vacuum cleaner with soft furniture nozzle is suitable for the natural cracks. Treat with natural wood wax. Spray wax is also good to use. If left untreated, the furniture becomes more fragile and stains can become permanent, even if they are wiped off immediately.

Maintenance care

We recommend the use of Teak shield golden care. An almost invisible wood impregnator that makes it difficult for dirt and liquids to seep into teak. Also very suitable for the protection of indoor wooden furniture. Another recommendation is to use Spray Wax. Spray Wax prevents liquid and dirt from penetrating the surface. The product works excellently on wood, stone and other absorbent materials that need to be protected.

Java Oak

A tropical fast-growing wood species that has a surface that is similar to teak but with a softer structure. The surface is treated with a water-based, environmentally friendly, color varnish. Recommended for indoor use. Use a slightly damp cloth when cleaning.

Akacia

During production, the furniture is treated with oil and it is required that you continue to oil the furniture in order for it to stay in good condition. If the furniture is placed outdoors, oiling is required several times a year.

Maintenance

Make sure that the furniture is dry and clean before oiling. Continue to oil until the surface is saturated and the furniture does not absorb more of the oil. Wipe off excess oil with a cloth. Remember to protect the surface before and after treatment.

Maintenance care

We recommend “Furniture Oil” from “Leathermaster Scandinavia”. Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
