Veneer consists of a thin sheet of wood, which is glued to a dull and hard fibreboard in MDF. The oak veneer in the colours Antique Grey, Dark Grey, Walnut and Black Oak veneer is painted and varnished in several steps, which gives a hard and durable surface, but retains its natural grain and appearance. The Macao and Vermont series consist of birch veneer that has been painted and varnished. The surface is smooth and even.
