LEATHER

All our leather furniture is made from top-quality leather, so-called full-grain leather, sourced from Italy and South America. The products are treated in various ways to achieve the desired appearance. The furniture is built with either metal or wooden frames. Suspension usually consists of elastic webbing or nozag springs. Seats and backs are filled with foam, polyether, or certified down and feathers. Recommended for indoor use.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To maintain the color and function of the leather, regular care is essential. Vacuum the furniture using a soft brush. Spills should be wiped up immediately before they penetrate the leather. Never use harsh cleaning agents—use a soft cloth with lukewarm water or a leather-specific cleaner. For small scratches or scuffs, try rubbing gently with a clean finger.
Avoid exposing the leather to direct sunlight or placing the furniture near heat sources.
(Regular leather should typically be cleaned 6–12 times per year and reconditioned 2–4 times annually to retain its character. Use Leathermaster’s Soft Cleaner and Protection Cream. Some types of leather require different care—see specific care recommendations below.)

To maintain the shape and appearance of this furniture, cushions should be fluffed and shaken regularly to distribute the filling evenly. On some models, you can remove and turn the inner cushion. Seats and cushions filled with down require more maintenance than synthetic ones, but with proper care, they will remain beautiful and comfortable for many years.

PURE DYE, NATURAL WASHED & DESTROYED BLACK

These leather types are completely dye-free, known as full-aniline, which makes them very soft and supple. They are also more sensitive to stains. The appearance is deep and natural, and color variations may occur. Natural markings like insect bites and scars are left visible.
Unlike other leathers, this type should not be treated with conditioner, as doing so will alter its characteristic look. Instead, treat with Leathermaster’s Natural Protection.

NUBUCK

Nubuck is a sanded, matte leather with a very soft and smooth surface. Because the glossy protective layer has been removed, the leather is very sensitive to dirt and stains. It is important to treat the furniture with Leathermaster’s Natural Protection before use and regularly thereafter. Like other aniline leathers, it should not be conditioned with cream. Clean with Nubuck Cleaner.

VINTAGE CIGAR

The “Vintage Cigar” leather is specially treated to create a worn, aged look. This leather should be treated a maximum of 2 times per year. Cracks in the surface color may occur, contributing to the unique character of each piece.

BUFFALO LEATHER

A unique vintage leather handcrafted using traditional methods from buffalo leather sourced in Italy. The leather is ideal for achieving a vintage look, featuring natural markings such as healed scars, scratches, and wrinkles. The unique surface is created through multiple treatment stages. Clean with Soft Cleaner 6–12 times per year and recondition with Leather Protection Cream 2–4 times per year.

TITANIC ESPRESSO/ANTRACITE

A high-quality, lightly sanded semi-aniline leather from Italy, soft and comfortable to the touch. Clean regularly with Soft Cleaner and recondition with Leather Protection Cream 2–4 times per year.

FUDGE/WHISKEY SPITFIRE

A high-quality semi-aniline leather from South America, soft and smooth, specially treated for a slightly distressed look. Requires regular cleaning with Soft Cleaner and reconditioning with Leather Protection Cream to maintain its character.

CHOCOLATE BROWN/MOUNTAIN BLACK

A semi-aniline leather that has undergone a 14-step tanning process including sanding and treatment with natural oils to achieve a beautiful finish. The leather is not lacquered but has a thin wax layer that allows it to breathe. Clean with Soft Cleaner 6–12 times per year and recondition with Leather Protection Cream 2–4 times per year.

SAFARI BLACK/SAFARI GREY

A slightly thicker, lightly sanded full-grain leather with a matte, soft surface. Clean with Soft Cleaner 6–12 times per year and recondition with Leather Protection Cream 2–4 times per year.

VINTAGE BLACK

A pigmented full-grain leather with a slightly structured, distressed look. Clean with Soft Cleaner 6–12 times per year and recondition with Leather Protection Cream 2–4 times per year.
